The deadline for candidate entries for the 7th edition of the Sacyr Innovation Awards for the Best Startup finished on 26 May. A total of 42 companies and entrepreneurs have participated in this edition, which is seeking out talent in the infrastructure and service sectors. The candidates are highly sophisticated and high quality and have presented developments applicable in the aforementioned sectors, although they can also be used in other industries.
The proposals entered cover a large number of technologies, ranging from mobile apps to energy efficiency, from developments involving the Internet of Things to drones and augmented or virtual reality.
The decision as to the winners of the Sacyr awards will come after the summer. Beforehand, the jury (made up of experts in innovation from Sacyr and from the company’s different business lines) has to clarify which projects will be shortlisted to enter the final stage.
The award enables the startups and Sacyr to develop entrepreneurial projects with an innovative approach, scalability and an international outlook.
