As it commemorates its 20-year presence in Chile, Sacyr sees fit to acknowledge the contributions to the country made by different groups through groundbreaking initiatives.
Sacyr Chile marks 20 years devoted to improvement and progress in a vibrant country that is keen to look to the future. Innovation plays an essential part on that road. For this reason the company has launched the first edition of the Sacyr Innovation Awards in Chile following the success of the six editions already held in Spain. These have recognised projects demonstrating the most disruptive innovation in the sectors where we operate.
In an act which aims to transfer to Chile not only projects but also opportunities for collaborative efforts, these awards have been announced to recognise the Chilean talent and contribution to innovative initiatives in infrastructures and services. The launch of the awards was announced at an event held at the Innovation Centre of the Universidad Católica in Santiago, Chile, attended by the Chilean Minister of Economy, Development and Tourism, Luis Felipe Céspedes, together with other local authorities and Sacyr executives.
Thus, the innovative spirit of Sacyr, which welcomes changes that may improve a process or develop new business lines, is being carried over as an open-minded vision. We want to listen to Chilean innovators. On this front, you can have a big say. View the rules here: Legal terms and conditions_1edition_Chile.

The purpose of the first edition of the Sacyr Innovation Awards in Chile is to recognise the talent and the contribution to the country made by different groups through innovative initiatives in the domain of infrastructures and related services.
The aim of these awards is also to connect different stakeholders – companies, academia and the state – so that they can collaborate with each other on innovation objectives. In this way, it will be possible to identify groundbreaking ideas that can deliver considerable improvements in Sacyr’s activities in Chile and make our innovation activities and our contribution to the Chilean economy known among the company’s key stakeholders.
This Sacyr Foundation initiative has the support of the Innovation Centre of the Universidad Católica (UC) in Chile, with the Diario Pulso newspaper as its official media partner.
